Iwas notified in the latter part of 2019 that my land tax was delinquent and my landwould be sold. That I had to come up with $600 and $600 for cost. This was asurprise to me because I had homestead credits. I Came to find out through the years my property was depreciating and my landtaxes were increasing to the point that the taxes were higher than the homestead credit for 3 years without any notification of it from the tax peopleInvolved. This was while the pandemic was gaining Steam , stay home orders and most people were put out of work. I was drawing(pua) Pandemic unemployment assistance but they suspended it. I was appealing tothe pua appeal board. There was no way topay it right now, I thought I could pay the taxes when my income-tax return came in . To this day I haven't seenit yet. Around the end of August I got my first check frompua. I whone the appeal thank god. Itried to pay the taxes and they said it was too late. I've been living on this land for 32 years, myland paid in fool. I'm 64 years old, it is too late to start over. This legalizetheft at it
