What can I do to get paid

I'm a sub sub contractor that did work for this company and have gone thru collections to try to get paid. They keep stating they have a check for me but then never receive it. I get the run around. I missed deadline to get paid. The deadline for the other lien I have at another job is about to expire and will have no leverage. Is there anything else i can do to get paid,
