What do I do as a homeowner in NY if I was served with a totally fraudulent mechanics lien for $250,000 for demolition allegedly done at my home from June to July of 2021 from a company I never heard of? I believe that this lien was filed to purely hold up the sale of my home. No contractor has even stepped foot inside my home for several years.
