I'm having a lot of trouble finding this information on the LA county website because it is so cluttered, and it's really hard to get someone who can help me clearly on the phone.

County recorder's websites are routinely difficult to navigate, confusing, and cluttered. All the information needed to get a document filed in Los Angeles County, including fees, paper size and margin requirements, contact information, and FAQs, can be found on Levelset's Los Angeles County Recorder page.
Recording fees for LA County are $90 for the first page, and $3 for each subsequent page.
