My company is located in a different state and holds a General Contractors license in CA. Any projects we perform in CA the labor is completed by a subcontractor. What is our role and liability in Prevailing wage requirements by the state?

As a general contractor on a prevailing wage job, you are responsible for ensuring that all subcontractors are complying with the prevailing wage requirements. If your subcontractors fail to comply with the prevailing wage requirements, you can be found liable for any underpaid wages.
