What are my options when mechanics lien was filed but not enforced?

Couldn't file a law suit due to financial problems caused by the pandemic and now mechanics lien is expired. Amount due is still not paid and would like to know if i still have any options.

Even if you are out of time for recording a lien, you may still be able to file a lawsuit for breach of contract or unjust enrichment. Even if the mechanics lien statute has expired, you may have a claim for breach of contract or other action for money damages you can pursue in court. You should consult with an attorney regarding your options.
