I'm not entirely sure I understand the question. However, Levelset does have an extensive article regarding bankruptcy and how it affects mechanics lien rights: How to Protect Your Payments When Dealing with a Construction Bankruptcy.
As mentioned in that article, mechanics liens can be really effective in assuring payment is received on a job where the party going bankrupt isn't the property owner. But, even if they are the owner, a mechanics lien may be one of the best tools available.
