Hello I’m Minna I have contractor renovated my basement he started in November before thanksgiving told me it would take a month to a month & half we got an agreement that he would get paid $8.000 for labor $3.000 at the beginning then $3000 in the middle $ 2000 at the end I will paid for all materials I paid him $ 6000 when he finished I told him I will pay him $500 a week at the same time I have to tell my insurance about the renovation I ask for his license he said he was going to bring it the following Friday he did show up instead call me to threaten me to take me to court in fact today I got the summons I step I should take?
