I work at an interior design firm, and my boss is saying that we are considered 'construction' so she feels we are essential. Even though we have been working from home for 2 months just fine, she is now requiring we come back to the office before LA county has said offices can reopen. I have asthma and am a secondary caregiver to my father who is on the UCLA lung transplant list for his COPD. I have expressed my concern with coming back so soon, and my concern for my health, however she does not care. If I were to quit, am I eligible for unemployment benefits?
