They transferred the lien to a Bond

FloridaBonding Off Lien

They transferred the lien to a Bonding Agency. I am running out of the 60 days threshold. Can I still represent myself in court or do I have to sign away my rights by allowing this lady to get away with not paying me. Total Bond is $41K

The transfer of the lien to a bond means that a lawsuit to foreclose your lien is against the bond - not the property. As for the 60 days, it sounds like you were sent a "notice of lien contest. " By statute the notice establishes a deadline to file your lien forclosure lawsuit. If you don't file timely then you lose the lien. You would still be able to file suit for breach of contract against the contracting party within a period of four to five years from the nonpayment, depending whether the agreement was oral or written. As for representing yourself, if you are doing business as a corporate entity (a corporation, limited liability company, etc.) then you must have a lawyer represent you when that much money is at issue. Regardless, I strongly recommend consulting with a lawyer right away so that you don't lose your lien rights. Remember, the lien secures payment of the amount owed to you.
