The General Contractor hasn't paid me what is my b

OklahomaBond ClaimsPayment Disputes

I'm a subcontractor that and I finished my part of this commercial project back in July and I have yet to be paid. The project was completed a few days ago and they're requesting close out documents retainage, warranties etc. I believe the General Contractor disagrees with my itemized final payment and I believe there may be a breach of contract situation on their part.

Oklahoma law requires a lien to be filed to preserve your legal interest within 4 months. Since work was finished in July, 4 months is this month. You probably need to file a lien very quickly. That would be the first step. If you have further questions, you can email me at Jonathan@libertylegalok.com, and we can schedule a free consultation.
