Should I

GeorgiaCoronavirus

I work for a small remodeling company with 6 members and most of the time it's hard for us to not be 6 feet apart, should I continue working? Safe?

On the state level, it looks like Georgia has not yet issued a stay home order or closed specific businesses, beyond bars and restaurants, in response to the coronavirus outbreak. So, in terms of what's allowed. Georgia construction businesses may remain open. Though, if your city or county government has issued restrictions, those must be followed. Still, most governments have permitted construction work to continue to some degree - especially when the work is being done on a residence that would be left unsafe without the continuation of the work. As for what's safe - that's another question entirely. Obviously, the best way to ensure the safety of workers, customers, and the public at large is to suspend or cease operations. Even if work isn't ceased, proper social distancing guidelines and taking measures to ensure that everyone is properly sanitizing and handwashing will go a long way to preventing the spread of coronavirus. But, if those guidelines can't be followed while continuing to perform work, if some members of the crew are especially susceptible to contracting the virus, or if there's some other reason for caution - then the decision not to continue work should be an easier one. For information on how GA counties or other states are handling construction work during the coronavirus pandemic, or to stay tuned for a Georgia statewide order, this tracker will be useful: Can I do Construction Work In my State? Plus, considering the rate at which guidelines and restrictions have been changing, it'd be smart to keep an eye out for announcements from your state and local governments.
