I was working on a project in California and I am a subcontractor. I was working on a job that we sent a Pre lien notice for phase 1 , but the project increased in price and amount since we sent the initial preliminary notice and I was wondering if it is required to resend a new notice with the updated amount or is it ok, since we sent the initial notice?
Preliminary notice is required once per contract. So change orders purusant to the same contract do not necesitate preliminary notice.
