Should I have filed a Notice of Intent to Lien

FloridaMechanics Lien

I'm a subcontractor for a large commercial job. We are still on the job but have not been paid in full. I filed a mechanic's lien on Nov 6, but now I am inquiring if I should have field an Intent to Lien first? What should I do?

There is no need to give notice of your intent to lien. As long as you record a lien within 90 days of your last date of work, then you are good.
