You can contact either to see about payment. Make it simple and civil and see if you can work something out. If you do, hire an attorney on the agreement and to draft the form to release the lien.
If you don't get paid, unless the amount due runs to the mid to upper five figures, consider filing a lawsuit. If this is under $7500, use small claims.
