Should I be worried about getting paid? Project completed and turned over.

If I completed a project for a company and sent them the invoice 12 days ago, should I be worried about not getting paid for the work I performed? There has been no communication or updates to me about when to expect payment. Should I keep bugging them or is this timeframe typical?

Often companies pay invoices on a 30 day schedule. After 30 days you may want to consider pushing them harder to pay you.

I think there is nothing wrong in calling their AP dept and asking them what to expect. Ask them to give you a timeline for payment.
