Ohio

I have a lien on my property that was placed in 2003 and paid off. The company did not lift it however and I have no proof of such. Now the company no longer exists and I can’t sell property!!

Good afternoon and thank you for reaching out. I am sorry that you find yourself in this situation.

The typical statute of limitations in Ohio is normally 6 years to enforce the lien claim. You are currently outside that statute so I suggest contacting an attorney to see what your options are in this situation.

Please reach out to our Legal Help for specific help on your current situation. Please don't hesitate to let me know if I can help any further.
