Pre-lien 20 Day Notices, Bond Information

ArizonaBond ClaimsPreliminary Notice
Anonymous Contractor

As a subcontractor filing a prelim 20 day notice for a project that we were required to have a payment and performance bond, do we need to include our bond information on the prelim notice, or only include bond information if the GC has a bond on the project? Thank you

The requirements for a 20 day notice will differ depending on whether the project is public or private, so it's important to be sure to abide by the relevant requirements. However, when sending a 20 day notice, there is no need to include the information for the bond that you have provided regardless of whether the project is public or private.
