I was tricked by a mechanic shop. They said they had financing available and sent me the link to apply. I got approved. They fixed my truck, but when I went to pay and get the truck the financing declined. The shop said they would talk to the finance Co and straighten things out, and for me to come back tomorrow. Instead they tried to tow my truck, and I caught them in the act. The guy took my battery. I called the police they said I could tow my truck home, that it was a civil matter, so I did. Now say taking me to small claims. Can they put a lien on it? Can I sell it?
