we did a job but we didnt get paid. we filed a lien, lien was going to be expired on 05/10 but we filed a lawsuit on 05/06 is the lien still valid

If the lawsuit was filed to enforce the mechanic’s lien within the deadline, the lien should be able to be enforced in that lawsuit (assuming other requirements are met). You may want to make sure the court actually file endorsed the complaint (stamped with a filed date and entered into the docket). Its likely not an issue, but sometimes complaints are rejected.
