Hello I'm trying to work on my very first project on Levelset and have a couple questions. Based on the information that I've put in, my project does net require a notice to owner. In this case, what should be my first step?

If you are not required to send a Florida Notice to Owner, then currently there is nothing you, as a potential lien claimant, will need to do to secure your rights to payment. If, as the project progresses, you begin to experience payment issues, we recommend sending invoice reminders and then escalating to payment demand letters if payment isn't made. The deadline to file a Florida mechanics lien is 90 days after the last date you provided labor and/or materials to the project. If that deadline is steadily approaching, and the payment dispute is yet to be resolved; sending a Notice of Intent to Lien is typically an effective way to induce payment. This is like a final warning that if payment isn't received, you are willing and able to file a lien against the property. And lastly, if none of these tactics produce payment, it may be time to file the actual lien claim. Here are some additional resources you may find helpful:
