We have already filed the mechanics Lien thru you guys. Now we are needing to move forward. Can we add fees for the builder dragging this out? He has made contact with us. But still has yet to hold true to his promise to pay.

Each state has different statutes dictating the process for enforcing liens. Here in Georgia, additional steps must be made after filing of the lien depending on whether a Notice of Contest of lien is filed or not. Keep in mind that your lien will only last for one year unless an enforcement action is filed. Knowing exactly when your lien was filed will make sure you do not miss the deadline to file an action, if needed.
In terms of fees, that will be determined by the contractual agreement between the parties.
