We supplied and installed two shutters for a business called Uptown cash As it took us longer than usual time to get the shutter parts from Florida due to covid 19 . The client was really frustrated with the length of time it was taking, so they ask for a refund and we agreed but they later changed their minds and decided to wait. On the 18th of August we ( two electrician and myself) were putting the finishing touches on ( a key switch)which was at approximately 5.45 pm and the manager, Ms. Annette Jackson left and went up the street , returning with a gentlemen and took him inside the office before returning back out to where we were finishing up and he then proceeded to tell us to get all of our belongings and get out or get knocked out over and over which if counted we would say approximately 15 times . He allowed us to know that he represented Uptown Cash and that the workers had been there since 9am and they needed to go home and so did we. We immediately left and I filed a police report the following day. I received a call from uptown cash from a person who only identified himself as Robert that insured me that we could return the following Saturday to complete the job and that he would call me back to confirm, I never received that call and the next time i visited the business my remotes that open the shutter where disarmed and the key switch was moved and my keys no longer worked. Do I have a case to collect the outstanding balance and can I sue this business?
