Contractor built a house on my land. They subtracted money from the house cost that was never added. This figure is what the lender used to close our loan. Contractor is short $9554. I refused to pay for their mistake and I don't want to give them the C of O draw. There's fraud and many mistakes with the loan and builders. The mechanics lien should have been filed by mid September, but was done on November 30th. House was finished by June 8th.
