Mechanics Liens

Nevada

We offer two services and are currently operating under one contractor company/license. We provide mitigation services with a contract and then we provide the reconstruction services with a different contract. Even though we use two different contracts, since we are operating under the same company, can we use the last time we were providing a service at the property for the lien? For example.. We provide mitigation services at 123 Smith St Las Vegas, NV 89123 and we complete the job on 3/10/2023. Then we begin the reconstruction service and finish on 5/10/2023. Can we use the last time we provided materials/service for the mitigation work on 5/10/2023 since it is the same property and we are the same company?

Thank you for reaching out to the Levelset legal community. If you are in need of specific advice for a current legal situation, you may want to consider reaching out to a licensed attorney in your state directly at their office. This forum is public, so it may not be the right place to discuss a sensitive legal issue. Levelset provides a list of attorneys in each state here: https://www.levelset.com/payment-help/experts/experts-by-state/ . From that directory you may find a law firm in your area to call privately.
