Mechanics Lien Template

WisconsinMechanics Lien

I'm in the process of filing for my lien and I noticed it state to put my "company name" on your template; what do I put on there of I'm not associated with any company? I simply just did the work for the tenant that hired me as a subcontractor.

Most mechanics lien claimants will be construction businesses, material suppliers, equipment rental companies, etc. However, individuals who perform lienable work will be entitled to file a mechanics lien in their own name, too. So, while a form might call for a company name, if an individual did the work and not a company - then putting the individual's name should typically suffice.
