I rented equipment to a customer in CT to crush rock. I was not paid in full. I filed a mechanics lien against the property owner, where our equipment was rented. Now the customer has an application at the court for discharge of the lien, on the grounds that the lien is excessive. Is he correct. Im still not paid by the customer. If the lien is filed against the property owner, how can my customer ask permission to discharge the lien? Can I go ahead and pursue the lien against the property before the discharge of the lien takes place in July
