A subcontractor's lien rights are set to expire based on their "Completion of work" date, which was mid-June'22. It is now mid-Sept.'22. They subsequently submitted 2 more pay apps accompanied with conditional waivers for final negotiated change orders and retention, for July'22 & Aug'22. Payments have not been made on these two final pay apps. Would the signed conditional waivers filed w/ the pay apps protect their right to file a lien outside of the "completion of work" date? (Project is in California)
