In California how many days do I have as a lien claimant to release a lien once it has been paid in full??
There is not a time limit on recording a release of lien, but clearly at some time when proof of clearance of funds has been established, the claimant will have to release its lien or may be subject to potential legal action for maintaining an improper lien.
