We filed a mechanic's lien with your service on 6-15-21, your service shows it was sent to the court on 06-15-21. However, the court did not register the lien until 06-16-21. Did we meet our deadline of 06-15-21, if Levelset sent the lien on 06-15-21 regardless of when the courthouse file stamped the document?
In order to adhere to a mechanics lien deadline, the lien document must generally be filed into the record prior to that deadline. Additionally, note that it is extremely common that it could take a recorder's office more than one day to process a lien and file it into the public record - particularly when sent to them by mail or third-party service.
