Just want give you a little feedback. I'm a project owner. Just received a Levelset Preliminary Notice for the first time. You've taken a 1 page doc and turned it into a 3 page doc. Don't like it at all.
Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate getting information from all parties involved with construction projects.
While we do like to keep things simple, and appreciate short single-page documents like you, our notice document was developed in an attempt to provide helpful information to property owners like you (and everybody else who receives the document).
Information like the projected start and end date of the work subject to the notice, the noticing party's vendors, and a site where you can correct mistaken information or exchange other information about the project is designed to be useful. Indentifying information about sub-tier parties can help you figure out from whom lien waivers should be obtained.
