We are a subcontractor in Mecklenburg County, NC and wanted to know if warranty work is considered in the 120 days you have to file a lien. For example, if the last date we worked on the jobsite/provided material was in 2020 but in May 2021 we had to go to the jobsite for warranty work as well as paid a subcontractor that we had to hire, could we count the 120 days beginning in May 2021 when we did warranty work?
