I stopped work on a job April 15, 2021 due to accusations of faulty work. Contractor still owes me roughly $17,000 and doesn't seem to want to pay. He is also suing me for the work I had done. At this time my insurance is fighting the claim.
Give my office a call for a free consult. In my experience insurance does not cover workmanship, nor does it cover intentional acts. That said, your insurance company (if it hasnt already) will likely issue a reservation of rights letter and at some point turn around and initiate an action (lawsuit) for declaratory judgment that they do not have to defend you on certain (or all) claims under the policy.
