The owner is asking for release of lien in order to pay us
A Notice of Intent to Lien isn't an actual requirement under Florida lien laws, nor is it a filed document. So, technically, there isn't anything to release/cancel. However, to ease their concerns, you can send a simple retraction letter to the tune of "please disregard the previous letter/notice."
