We have a project coming up in Albemarle County. It is a Parking Garage and Sitwork with Apartment Buildings coming later. Is there a Notice of Commencement required for Private Projects?

No. Only preliminary notice requirement is to Mechanics’ lien agent, if one is identified on the building permit, for one two family residential structures.
