Is there a different lein form for private party judgments vs construction (business) judgments

Colorado

I need to file a lein against a party that owes me for work and materials supplied for the job that was never completed. It was filed in MN and he subsequently sold his property here and moved to AZ (his primary residence) I have an authenticated judgment and I have to file a foreign judgment to move this MN judgment to CO. where he has part time residence. Once I register this lein with the clerk of courts in CO how is he notified of this lein?

That's an interesting question, but unfortunately, our expertise on this forum lies with mechanics liens filed for construction labor, services, and materials. Judgment liens are a little outside of our wheelhouse, but if you try avvo.com, there are attorneys available there from all practices and locations to answer questions on a variety of different subjects. They also have on-demand, affordable legal advice. Good luck with your recovery! And if you ever have any questions about mechanics liens, preliminary notices, or other construction payment topics, you know where to find us!
