Is small claims court enforcing a lien?

CaliforniaLien Deadlines

We filed for a lien with levelest and now we are being threatened by the customers lawyer that we have not enforced he lien.(Civil Code 8460) We filed a Small Claims Case against her right away as well but she filed to postponed the trial date. Then to make matters worse when we finally met for court last week the Judge said we filed the case wrong under our name even though we didn't (the court knows that now) but we were told we had to re-file again which we did the next day and our court date isn't until Jan 22nd now. We have never done this before so not sure what to do.

You cannot enforce a lien in small claims court.  Small claims has no jurisdiction. Your lien probably expired and you should release it and proceed for breach of contract in small claims court.
