Under Colorado's stay home order, construction is widely allowed. This is especially true for specialty trades as well as those working on housing and particularly low-income housing. Certainly, there's a fair argument to be made that building a spec home isn't essential - particularly if no one will live in the home. However, since construction is pretty broadly allowed, it's pretty clear that housing construction can continue. Naturally, social distancing should be practiced to the full extent possible. And, of course, if you feel that you or your team can't safely proceed with work, it might be possible to discuss the matter with the contractor to try and come to some acceptable arrangement. Rules and regulations have been changing rapidly amid the coronavirus outbreak, so it's important to be on the lookout for news from your local and state governments to stay up to date. Further, at least regarding construction work, this tracker from Levelset will be valuable: Can I do Construction Work In my State?
