I am new to the construction industry and am trying to learn all I can regarding Lien Rights/Waivers/Law (etc). I am curious if we receive timely payment from a customer for their first month on the job and did not send a notice. What happens if the do not pay for the remainder of the project? Do we still have the opportunity to send a notice to secure the lien rights for the remaining amount of the project?
