I work for a General Contractor in California and we are looking to take on prevailing wage jobs. I have read about having apprentices and journeymen on site, but if we do not have any of our own labor and hire subcontractors on site do we need any apprentices or journeymen on our end? My understanding is that subcontractors are required to bring their own apprentices and journeymen on site. Please let me know!
