If we are requested to submit a pay application and SOV instead of our invoices on the 20th of each month, forcasting up to the end of that month. We rent, erect and dismantle scaffolding and some jobs request a pay application & SOV instead of our invoices.

That's a fair question, but taking a step back might help some here. Texas monthly notices include the amount that went unpaid for the entire month that the notice was based on. While other documentation may confuse this process, at the end of the day, monthly notices must simply reflect the amount owed in the month for which the notice is being sent - regardless of whether that amount was generated in a pay app or an invoice.
