I am the G.C. working on a single family home property. We finished the punch list work and now are awaiting for the sign off from the owner. It's been a difficult job in many ways and I had the worry during the course of the job that it may be hard to get the final payment. Now, I get the impression that I will have to put up some kind of legal fight to get paid for the remaining balance since there is a lack of responses for a sign off as was assured.
