I’m a licensed California general contractor I was fired March 31 2022 Job was supposed to be completed December 31, 2021. There were some substandard work. The owner does not want to pay me. What can I do to get paid thanks

If work on the project ceased on March 31, 2022, you should have time to serve and record a mechanics lien. Don't wait. Serve and record ASAP. You then have 90 days in which to file a lawsuit to enforce the lien.
