If I own two houses and there is a lien against one, can I sell the other house?

I inherited two houses from my mother, my current home and a rental property. There is a lien on the home I live in and I want to sell the rental property. Do I have to clear and pay the lien on my residence before selling the rental property?

No, a lien on one property will not have any impact on your ability to transfer another property.
