If I am exempt from an accidental lien, will I get my money back?

Virginia

I am a 19 and there was a $4,000 lien put on my checking account. It is from a company that has no record of me buying anything from them (including name, bank info, and SSN) but they do have record of my mother. My mother had a lien put on her account first from them. My mom says she did not use any of my information to get the property and I believe her, but my problem is that I need it removed. Does it make sense for them to put liens on both of our accounts? I filed for an exemption. Will I ever get my money back because my paycheck was deposited the same day I found out about it.
