The prevailing wage rates in Massachusetts are set by the Department of Labor Standards for that particular project. A prevailing wage rate sheet should be included  in the initial bid documents by the public entity themselves. And it is ultimately the contracting public entity's responsibility to ensure that all contractors on the project receive a copy. Not only that, but once the project gets underway, the public entity is required to post the wage sheet in a conspicuous place on the job site. If it hasn't been provided or posted, then contractors should send a request to the hiring party, GC, or the public entity themselves. If however, a contractor is looking for a wage sheet before bidding or taking on a contract, the MA Dept. of Labor Standards website does provide recent and accurate example prevailing wage schedules to those who request them.
