My name is Tonya S Fry. I am disabled and on ssi. My ssi money gose into a chime account so that i get it before the first. On the 24th of November 2020 my ssi money went onto my chime account. And before i could spend it somebody hacked my chime account and took 794 84 from that is my ssi money for me to live on January 4th 2021. Somebody hacked my chime accouny again and took 669.00 from me. These people keep texting me and telling that in order for me to get my money back that i have to beg somebody to give me a 159. Dollars and they want me to go and buy some stupid steam cards in order for me to get my money. I have opened a new bank account. I am going to stop using the chime app. Cause who ever stole my money the second time made it to where i cant get into my chime account. I am begging for help i have little to know money to pay for anything. I just need somebody that i can trust please
I am so sorry to hear about this. You should contact the local police, specifically the economic crimes or consumer fraud division. You may also want to contact a local consumer protection attorney. Those would be the best places to start.
