I'm a homeowner. A small bathroom project was done by a General Contractor, and I realize that more than 1/2 the job was plumbing, but the subcontractor wasn't paid at all on it - $9,500. I'd like to help him recover, but don't really want to put myself in jeopardy, as I fully paid the subcontractor.
