I have filed a mechanics lien. What is the next step to collect my money?

ColoradoMechanics Lien

We are General Contractors and built a new home for my customer. My customer will not pay me the final draw on the house. They have moved into the house & we did receive a final building inspection. The customer did receive their Certificate of Occupancy.

Time to record a lien on their property, after notice of same and prepare to sue under your contract.

The lien has been filed. I think we are ready to sue.

Then reach out to attorneys for assistance on the suit. I hope your contract had an attorney fee provision. If the value is considerable, foreclosing the lien makes sense. If this is fairly small, then you may want to consider other lawsuit options.
