I am the GC. I filed a lien on a client and they have just ignored it and me. What are my follow up options? We had a contract for 160,000.00 that the bank loan paid, was supposed to be a remodel. House was so bad it had to be demoed and new construction. I have a demolition contract. I never did a new construction contract. Homeowners knew before the demo that the price would increase. We had a verbal agreement that they knew there was a price increase even if we did not rebuild the entire house, and continued with the remodel.
